World Cleanup Day is one of the biggest civic movements of our time, uniting 180 countries across the world for a cleaner planet.

The entire international JCI network has been involved in this initiative on a yearly basis, including JCI Eastern.

World Cleanup Day usually takes place over 1 day in September each year. On this day our members and volunteers worldwide will come together to rid our planet of trash - cleaning up litter and mismanaged waste from our beaches, rivers, forests, and streets. We always encourage as many people as possible within our community to join in. Not only is this a way for us to directly and immediately improve our local environment, it is also a great opportunity to connect with different groups and individuals and make new friends.
